About the event
Assemble your own swarm trap to take home! With a little luck, your trap will catch free bees and will recoup the cost of this workshop many times over.
Attendees will each receive a swarm trap kit that is pre-cut from plywood. Instructors will guide you through the assembly and provide tips for hanging it. Glue, fasteners, and tools will be provided. Paint, stain, or other finishes will NOT be provided; you can take your assembled swarm trap home and paint or decorate it how you like!
Want two swarm traps? When ordering your ticket online, select the 'two swarm trap kits' option. Due to time constraints, you may only be able to assemble one during the workshop, but you can take the other home to assemble on your own with your own tools.
