This is a fantastic opportunity for new beekeepers to get a complete 10 frame starter hive at a great price and learn to assemble equipment. During this hands-on workshop, attendees will assemble a deep hive body and 2 frames using glue, nails, and screws (all provided).

Participants will be required to sign a waver.

Children 11-18 years of age may accompany a paying adult.Â

Woodenware Class
You must also be registered for the Feb 1 Short Course in order to purchase this ticket. This ticket includes a complete Amish-made cypress 10 frame hive, including: bottom board, deep hive body (which you will assemble) 10 frames with foundation (8 already pre-assembled, 2 you will assemble), inner cover, telescoping outer cover, entrance reducer. A youth (11-18 years old) may accompany the holder of this ticket.

If you are a NWGBA member and are NOT attending the Short Course, you may attend the woodenware assembly workshop but will need to BRING YOUR OWN WOODENWARE: one unassembled deep hive body or super, and two unassembled frames.
