March Meeting
President Roger Ardis announced the "Pollinator Palooza Program" that will be held at Crabtree Farms on April 1st from 9:00am until 1:15 pm. A free program featuring speakers Ann Brown, Lisa Lemza, Sally Wenchel, Beth Rice and Nancy and Daniel Talley. Registration and details at www.crabtreefarms.org
Roger also discussed the Honeybee Festival in Downtown LaFayette on June 3. Volunteers are needed to man our booth. The more people available, the smaller the shifts would be. There will also be extraction demonstrations.
Gary Raines gave a presentation on Bee Basics followed by a question and answer session.
There was an awards ceremony for the 4H cooking with honey contest.

2nd place from Cherokee Ridge Elementary School - Cadey Page's Honey Oatmeal Cups
3rd place from North LaFayette Elementary School - Su'Andra Williams' Honey Lemon Chicken
